Next week, Lacie has an appointment Friday. That’s the beauty of home-schooling. She is coming Tuesday for Chem class and staying through Thursday morning. We’ll do Friday’s Chem class on Thursday morning. I have two labs planned.
After Chem on Tuesday, Lacie will work on Robinson Crusoe—either the study guide questions or her paper. She needs to make notes on all of the characters, countries, and key quotes for her RC test. In the afternoon, we begin with Theology, keeping Faith first. Well first after Chem class. Sometimes Lacie works on Theology during Brit Lit. I have her do something she can work on independently while I teach Brit Lit.
On Tuesday, we are working through History tests in Chapters 1&2. Lacie has completed the questions for the textbook. I’ve assigned material from the study guide, too. Now, I’m testing to be sure she retains the information.
Wednesday, we are doing Latin and Algebra in the morning. The Latin textbook has a bit of diagramming. I plan to have her write first noun declensions for terra, porta, nauta, silva, etc. We have a bit of vocabulary and verbs, too. I’m going to have her write and diagram simple Latin sentences. I need to teach the first declension cases, too. Rob wants Lacie to do more of the negative multiplication exercises. Then we can retest.
I need to grade her timeline and conversion exercises. She did the Sig fig work and corrected a few
mistakes. If we get the RC paper and test completed, I would like to do some Vocabulary. Dream a little dream.
